Many memorial donations are made to the Bill Walsh Cancer Research Trust as a way of perpetuating the memory of a loved one who has lost the fight against cancer. Funeral flowers are often replaced by donations to the Bill Walsh Cancer Research Trust.

If you would like to make a donation to our cancer research in memory of a loved one, click on the MEMORIAL DONATION Link above and your computer will print out a form for you to fill in. This is a convenient way of making memorial donations by cheque or by credit card. Cheques should be made out to Bill Walsh Cancer Research.

A memorial donation lasts longer than flowers
If you would like to arrange donations to our cancer research instead of funeral flowers, we will provide special cards and return-addressed envelopes for the funeral service. Many Funeral Directors already have these. If yours does not, ask them to contact us.

Arrange a bequest
The Fundraising Department of the Royal North Shore Hospital can help you arrange a bequest. They can be contacted on (02) 9926-6408. Please contact the Director of the Bill Walsh Cancer Research Laboratories (02) 9926-7456 to discuss the most effective way of making your bequest productive.

All donations over $2 to the Bill Walsh Cancer Research Trust are tax deductible and are exempt from the GST. Trust funds can only be spent directly on cancer research. They cannot be used for administrative purposes or for refurbishment of facilities.
